• Budget, Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the enterprise wide budgeting, forecasting and capital planning process ($5 billion of operating and $200 million of capital budgets) for overall financial management and strategic decision making. Lead efforts to develop long-term financial plans and forecasts for units, divisions and missions. Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making and identify areas for cost optimization and revenue growth.• Treasury: Oversee management of financial assets ($2 billion) and liabilities ($1 billion), cash flow, and financial risk to ensure the organization's financial stability, liquidity, compliance, presence in capital markets and overall balance sheet health of the organization. Ensures the financial health of the organization by providing strategic direction by optimizing the capital structure.• Supply Chain & Logistics: Responsible for overseeing the company’s supply chain, logistics, and related operational functions. Strategize to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and drive cost savings while maintaining high standards of quality • Campus Planning & Real Estate: Developing and maximizing the value of over 10 million square feet of institution-owned and operated campus’s and real estate that span Oregon and Southwest Washington. Drive initiatives related to campus development, capital projects, space utilization, sustainability, and property acquisition or disposition.• Payer Strategy: Lead payer and reimbursement strategies for the organization. Responsible for the development of hospital and physician managed care contracting strategy, including negotiation and management of third-party payor (government and private). Collaborates with executive leadership, senior management, and clinical operation leaders in the development of this strategy for locations within the OHSU Health System to bring patients in from the west coast.
