• Reporting to the Director of Community Arts and executes key functions related to core activities of the Community Arts programs. Responsible for furthering the creation, production, sustainability, and promotion of programs and activities that celebrate the arts and actively engage residents, artists, and visitors in Cambridge to deepen their understanding of and engagement with all aspects of arts and culture. • Involvement in Community Arts programs that include Cambridge Arts, Open Studios, River Festival, Grant Program, Summer in the City, Cambridge Poetry Programs, Street Performer Program, and the Creative Marketplace program suite.• Raise and manage financial support required to produce and expand Community Arts programminggoals through the development and submission of grant applications, foundation proposals• Initiate and manage program-related collaborations between arts organizations, City departments,Cambridge Public Schools, private businesses and corporations, etc.• Assist Director of Community Arts and Director of Marketing & PR in preparation, regular updates,and distribution of promotional information and materials.• Participate in strategic planning to enhance community benefit related to program and agencyactivities.• Support the recruitment and management of seasonal staff, interns, and volunteers who assist withthe successful implementation of program goals, event production, marketing, and overallmaintenance of program related information and databases.• Assist in identifying, securing, and contracting Common Venues to support the exhibition of localartists’ work.• Prepare and distribute calls-to-artists for Open Studios, River Festival, Creative Marketplace, andother agency programs that engage and support local artists and residents.• Assist in identifying and selecting artists, booking, and negotiating talent fees, and carrying outproduction needs related to Community Arts programs.

Produce, perform and create children music around New England venues bringing Latin American rhythms among intersectional, multigenerational communities through multilingual music. Developed a family musical workshop called “Ding-Dong: Quién Es? – Playing & Learning Latin Rhythms” introducing children to Latin American songs in Spanish, English and Portuguese.Continuum creation of songs and stories around personal immigrant experience in the U.S. coming from El Salvador, Panama, years in Cuba, Mexico and Washington D.C.Partnerships with local organizations and multilingual community outreach in Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian Creole, Arabic, Bengali and Nepali
