Sales And MarketingKospia Farms 2013 - PresentAlburtis, PaKospia Farms is a local business to the Lehigh Valley in Alburtis, Pennsylvania. Since the 1970’s it has operated as a working tree and ornamental plant farm with a retail garden center component and landscape design and installation services. It is a rare and beautiful 27 acre natural farm with 24 spring fed ponds. My role is creating and managing the design and implementation of a high-end retail component to combine with our existing products and services to create 'total outdoor living solutions'. Set within the natural farm, my focus is aligning with high design oriented vendors who support our goals of strong quality, manufacturing, and sustainable practices. Renovations were made to the farm to create a unique and relaxed buying experience resulting in clients spending more time on property. Marketing initiatives were put in place to include multiple media channels focusing on print, social media, and local B2B relationships to support the creation of a community based destination retail experience.The changes to the business model resulted in an 800% increase in total sales over last year. Expanding to incorporate multi-channel marketing and sales has increased our customer base, created a new customer base with a higher salary demographic, increased our sales within our legacy channels, created new sales opportunities in the outdoor furniture market, and increased the average size and profitability of the total solution sale. -
