Redeveloped one of the nation's original Scouting programs through existing and new, carefully selected and trained volunteers, yielding the development of fourteen new Scout units with trained leadership, a revitalization of outdoor & traditional programming, and financial development throughout Newark's historic "Robert Treat District." Was honored to have attracted Mayor (now Senator) Cory Booker, Newark Councilman (now U.S. Congressman) Donald Payne, Jr., Newark Council President Mildred Crump, and Edison Parking / Manhattan Mini-Storage founder Jerome Gottesman, among other prominent citizens, into our corps of Newark Boy Scout adult volunteers.

Executed the development vision of the Executive Director & Board of Trustees for the region's premier outdoor organization in this role on its management team. Identified the critical success factor for the organization's previously twice-declined State of New Jersey grant ($750,000) that, upon success, allowed the restoration of the new Trail Conference headquarters at the Old Darlington Schoolhouse (Mahwah, NJ) to move forward.
