During my time at Verizon, I worked in a small team to create a financial model for the Risk Management department that measured the effectiveness of the insurance program purchased to protect the company's assets. After creating the model, I collaborated with insurance brokers and actuaries to determine the financial feasibility and effectiveness of purchasing a catastrophe bond to prevent large scale loses as a result of a natural disaster. The model and analysis of the catastrophe bond were presented to Verizon's CFO, Fran Shammo.

As an intern at enFocus, I edited and restructured the website and blog to better promote the consulting start-up's desired brand image. I also conducted preliminary research for an initiative to increase the company's energy efficiency.

Beaver Island Historical Society operates two museums presenting the history of Beaver Island, its inhabitants, and the fishing industry on the island. As a Research Assistant/Intern, I designed, created, and implemented a commemorative exhibit to serve as the focal point of the Marine Museum collection. I also streamlined operational processes by digitizing historical records and financial information, as well as worked on a new website to be launched in following months.
