Maureen is a senior at Northeastern University set to graduate in May 2025. She is a dual candidate studying a double major undergraduate degree in Communications and Speech-Language Pathology/Audiology (SLPA).Maureen has proficiency in speaking 4 languages: English, Luganda, French & Spanish. She has a background in performing arts, such as playing the Flute, singing, voice-acting, mixing/mastering music audio and dancing.Maureen enjoys writing, producing/editing screened media, performing arts, historical research, website design & marketing. She sees Communications as a branch of entertainment journalism where she can express her thoughts through class projects and research assignments.Maureen is also interested in the intersection of Communication Sciences/Disorders (SLPA) —how different linguistic varieties in speech can change the meaning of semantics and ultimately how this can result in healthcare disparities.Together, her course work continually crafts her into a multicultural and multifaceted individual interested in many career opportunities that seek her attention!
