Elders NZ provided a variety of services to the rural sector, including Livestock brokering, Wool trading and brokering, retailer of farm supplies, wholesaler and exporter of seed, insurance brokering, rural real estate agency and rural finance company. Elders NZ was a 50/50 JV with Elders Australia. Elders NZ became part of Carrfields in 2014.• Manage financial and admin processes with a team of 2-3 staff members• Month end and year-end journals, P&L Variance analysis and adjustments• Bank reconciliation of NZD, EUR, USD & AUD accounts• Reconciliation of allocated balance sheet accounts and sub-ledgers• Profitability analysis, management account reporting and variance commentary • Annual budgets and periodic forecasts for review • Manage daily cash flow requirements• Preparation of reports and files for external auditors (half-year and year-end)• Reconcile Intercompany accounts• Internal audit of branches to evaluate, automate and streamline processes• Maintain fixed asset register incl. sales, disposals and depreciation.
