Reporting to the VP, People and Culture, I managed the HR team that supported a staff of 350+ and sat on the Operations Team. I was responsible for overseeing all talent management activities including recruitment, on-boarding, benefits options review, employee relations, performance management and conflict resolution. I also established the overall HR framework and managed the transition to a new HR management software (Avanti).

I worked with multi-disciplinary teams to complete a large-scale recruitment initiative and provided general talent management support that included delivering interview training to management.

I assisted three HR Specialists by conducting reference checks and exit interviews, preparing offer and transfer letters, setting up new employee files and maintaining records in SAP.

I provided general administrative support by completing tasks such as editing technical documents, basic bookkeeping and making travel arrangements.

Using ACT client database and Quicklaw, I maintained confidential client files, prepared and filed legal documents (correspondence, police disclosure and court records), and acted as a point of contact for clients, courts, Crown prosecutors and lawyers.

Reporting to the Director of Admissions, Head of School and VP of Finance, I managed the main office and provided general assistance to 53 staff members. This included general administration, admissions assistance to prospective families and maintaining over 550 confidential student files

Reporting to the store manager, I helped to hire, train and manage the sales team to ensure they provide exceptional customer service and met sales targets.

Managing two high volume cosmetics counters, I built and maintained a loyal client base while exceeding aggressive sales and customer service goals.
