Manager in a flexible packaging manufacturing plant; Responsibilities include managing Process Engineering and Quality departments, including plant adherence to technical specifications, overseeing plant Food Safety program/certification in accordance with FSSC 22000, creating and maintaining plant SOCs, overseeing and participating in continuous improvement (Lean Six Sigma) and waste reduction projects,, data analysis, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Actions (RC/CA) of quality issues, customer and supplier complaints, supporting trials and on boarding new business.

Responsibilities include technical requisition and specification writing, technical bid analysis and evaluation writing, equipment process design, mentoring new employees, working with designers and drafters, Process and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) preparation and Process Flow Diagram (PFD) preparation, work share with offices in Chile, Beijing, and various US locations, research and evaluation of new technologies, working with clients and suppliers, input to cost estimating, procurement, and project scheduling. Projects, clients, and suppliers located both nationally and internationally. Water treatment design and procurement technologies include Make-up water (clarification, lamella clarification, filtration, carbon filtration, reverse osmosis, ion exchange demineralization, and electrodeionization),boiler water chemical feeds, condensate polishing, industrial wastewater treatment, Zero-Liquid Discharge Systems and sample panels.
