Over the last ten years, I had transitioned from the traditional waterfall Project Manager/Program Manager role to an Agile Scrum Master, then to the Release Train Engineer (RTE) for several large scale Agile Release Trains, where I excelled at teaching and training under the Agile Coach/Trainer umbrella. As an Agile Coach, RTE, and Scrum Master, I guided and influenced agile adoption and attendant organizational transformation among broad and varying audiences, from Senior Leadership to Information Technology Engineers to Business Owners to the team level, using various educational methods and proposals to introduce the foundations of the leading industry-recognized methodologies and frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum, Scrumban, Kanban, and Lean, as well as DevOps practices. In these roles, I was Instrumental in establishing, growing and continuously improving agile foundational training, practices, processes, presentations, and metrics at organizational levels down to team levels. I had sole responsibility for propelling the progression of agile maturity and optimization of the full value stream across release train programs and teams that were co-located and teams that were geographically distributed.
