Manage the day to day operations of Knox Presbyterian Church including accounts receivable/payable, documentation, website maintenance and community outreach.

• Managed project teams that included developers, analysts, and testers to upgrade 2 database systems required to enable compatibility with currently supported version of software.• Led a team of IT and business professionals to develop a road map for implementing a new corporate security framework which included technical solutions such as DRM as well as new business policies and procedures.• Influenced senior business stakeholders by reviewing project charter to gain consensus on project scope and achieve acceptance and sign off.• Organized weekly meetings with project team to communicate logistics. • Managed a project team of 15, including 10 web developers in India, responsible for the implementation of 15 on-line insurance application forms under extremely tight timelines.• Facilitated the integration of Moneris (on line payment provider) with the new on-line applications allowing clients to pay for their insurance on-line. • Integrated the on-line application forms with a new vendor insurance administration system (Velocity). • Monitored the on-line application usage and responded quickly to any issues that arose so that the impact on the 30,000+ external clients was minimized.• Tracked team members’ work against the Project Plan and reassigned resources as necessary.• Monitored project budget ($950,000 annual budget) and produced Project Change Requests if additional funding was required.• Assessed project risks and developed plans to avoid and/or mitigate project risks.

• Defined and documented business requirements for enhancements to a vendor supplied on-line insurance administration system and presented the requirements and project budget to Business partners in order to achieve sign off.• Led UAT by developing test scenarios, reviewing test cases and results logged by testers and remediated as necessary.• Analyzed and documented system specifications for 4 insurance administration systems to interface with a newly implemented enterprise wide accounting system (Oracle Financials).• Verified the accuracy of financial information passing from the 4 administration systems into Oracle Financials during the system and UAT test phases.

• Defined requirements for 4 semi-annual standards upgrade for FundSERV/ECS – Electronic Standards Group and researched the business impact of the upgrades on Canada Life’s interface with FundSERV and mapped the XML format to our existing back end systems to minimize business impact of ESG 15 upgrade.• Defined project statements, functional specifications and status reports for 2 product launches and the ESG upgrades.• Conducted unit testing and was responsible for system testing for any project that impacted how Canada Life interfaced with FundSERV.• Worked with all levels of management to meet project objectives, assess risk and resolve discrepancies between the project schedule and the plan.• Led a team of 3 Business Analysts to verify the accuracy of policy and client information for 180,000 contracts during a conversion of PAR policies from the Canada Life legacy mainframe programs to Ingenium within an aggressive timeline with few resources.• Developed test strategies and cases and performed system and integration testing for 3 phases of the Ingenium implementation and Y2K.• Trained 30 business staff on Ingenium in a classroom setting and mentored a junior Business Analyst.
