Maureen is responsible for the overall marketing function for Mirick O'Connell, including the creation of and placement of all advertising; coordination of special events, client receptions and educational seminars; media and vendor relations; social media strategies; sponsorships and community involvement; and development of content marketing, including website, blogs, newsletters and client advisories. She managed all components of a firm-wide, cross-functional rebranding effort, including the redesign of the Firm's website. In 2009, Mirick O'Connell's website received first place in the Legal Marketing Association - New England Your Honor Awards, and in 2010 an honorable mention award for our marketing brochures.Maureen works closely with the Firm's attorneys and Marketing Committee to identify strategic opportunities to develop marketing and business development initiatives. She assists attorneys with research and the generation of proposals for new business.Maureen is a member of the firm's Marketing, Charitable/Civic/Bar, and Diversity & Inclusion Committees.She spearheads the "Mirick O'Connell Gives Back" program, an outreach program in which the Firm partners with local charitable organizations to provide such things as food, clothing, fuel assistance and holiday gift wishes for those most in need throughout the Worcester and MetroWest communities. She also coordinates the Firm's United Way Workplace Campaign and volunteers for the United Way's Day of Caring. Outside of Mirick O'Connell, she is a member of the Pancreatic Cancer Alliance, which raises public awareness and funds for research and patient care at UMass Memorial.In 2010, Maureen was selected by the Worcester Business Journal as one of "40 Under Forty" professionals honored for their professional excellence and community service. In 2013, she served as a judge for the "40 Under Forty" award.
