Our team continuously seeks and drives operational improvements within internal and operator-facing systems for Geospatial Operations, with a mind to cost base and commercial targets. We review, prioritise and scope operational teams’ current and future requirements, with the goal of standardising solutions across multiple regions (ANZ and North America), and setting up the company to scale. Nearmap is special - in a good way - and our team supports the enhancement and maintenance of bespoke, in-house software to meet our unique business needs. It’s our job to identify and communicate problems, solutions, opportunities and best-practices across multiple stakeholders, and manage simultaneous projects across cross-functional teams. Our team contains a variety of capabilities including Business Analysis, Data Analysis, Technical Writing and Project Management. Accountable for the production of aerial imagery within defined budget, meeting commercial requirements. This includes planning, scheduling, cost & quality monitoring, and close coordination with external supplier, as well as developing methods & policies for operational control, including writing procedural documents and training. Additional responsibilities include regular reporting to executives and local management, maintaining the survey coverage strategy, including analysis & alignment with strategic goals and analysis of cost, efficiency and output using Excel and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

Having studied and performed as a dancer and singer since childhood, I took this opportunity to pursue theater full-time. This included work in performing, teaching, choreography and hospitality. I learned how to work within a budget, with limited time, resources and energy. I worked with wonderful people, and had so much fun! Highlights include:- Choreographing Urinetown the Musical- Playing Cinderella in Into The Woods- Teaching 4-year-olds their first dance steps- Studying under some of the great NYC teachers, including original Fosse dancers.
