About Maureen Jeanson

I am a published author, co-authoring "Squeaky Gourmet" a complete wellness cookbook. I am also a freelance fitness writer for various health and wellness publications.Formerly employed with the Department of Defense Fleet and Family Readiness as a Navy Fitness Specialist. I perform client evaluations; nutrition advice based on the US Food Pyramid as well as group and individual fitness training sessions providing long term health and wellness programs. I hold an MS in Health Science as well certifications from ISSA as a CPT, Navy YFT and ACSM cPT. I am also a certified master herbalist. I prefer to work on functional fitness and a holistic approach to wellness, treating the body as a whole rather than parts. My goal is to one day bring a reasonable amount of fitness into the lives of all of my clients. I know there is an enjoyment to wellness that can be found for ANY individual and it is my passion to help people find just what it is they want to do to become whole and healthy.
