Drawing on more than 30 years of experience providing dedicated client service as an attorney and consultant, Maureen engages with Consilio's customers to ensure a best-in-class client experience. She works with our cross-functional Client Experience Leadership Council to develop and deploy best practices that embed Consilio's commitment to service excellence, and to deliver the highest levels of quality and value. She seeks opportunities to create differentiating moments for clients – from bespoke educational sessions to loyalty programs to peer networking events – to foster client satisfaction and loyalty.Maureen also serves as Consilio's Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer. She leads the development and implementation of the company's strategies, policies, and programs for ensuring a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace. Partnering with Consilio's executive team, its internal and client Advisory Boards on Diversity & Inclusion, and external partners, Maureen guides the organization in carrying out its mission of attracting and encouraging a diversity of backgrounds, experiences, and ideas; fostering a global, inclusive culture; and celebrating employees’ diverse strengths.Maureen is a respected industry thought leader, speaking and writing frequently on significant issues that impact Consilio’s clients, such as maintaining an inclusive, productive workplace in the COVID-19 work-from-home paradigm; strategies and tactics for engaging in cross-border discovery; the latest developments in e-discovery law and practice; and diversity, equity, and inclusion in the legal profession.

Prior to DiscoverReady's acquisition by Consilio, Maureen led the company's industry-leading managed document review operations, with accountability for achieving gross margin targets, meeting goals for staff utilization, maintaining high-quality client service delivery, and driving continuous process improvement initiatives. As a member of the company's executive team, she helped develop and execute on the company’s strategic vision, and grow the company to an enterprise value that enabled a successful exit strategy for its private equity partner and shareholders. Maureen also served as in-house privacy counsel at DiscoverReady, with responsibility for creating, implementing, and administering the company's internal GDPR compliance program. She worked with clients to develop GDPR-compliant procedures for handling personal information in discovery and other legal matters, including the execution of appropriate controller-processor agreements and the creation of defensible cross-border data transfer protocols.

Prior to joining DiscoverReady, Maureen was a partner at Paul Hastings LLP, where she represented Fortune 500 and other multinational companies in all aspects of employment law, including complex employment litigation. She developed particular expertise in the collection and statistical analysis of employment data. Maureen also co-chaired the Firm’s E-Discovery Practice Group. In that role, she counseled clients on the implementation of comprehensive e-discovery strategies, including identifying sources of electronic information, creating data preservation plans and legal hold notices, developing and negotiating protocols for electronic document discovery, and leading discovery meet-and-confer sessions.
