About Maureen Riley

I'm a private practice Therapist at The Refinery Wellness Center and a CRT Therapist at Telecare Corporation. I conduct individual, family and group therapy. I specialize in trauma and operate mainly from a psychodynamic lens. The modalities I prefer to utilize with clients are IFS, DBT, Somatic Experiencing, mindfulness, art therapy, and pet therapy. I believe in client centered care and appreciate the uniqueness of each client.My background in education along with my experience living and working internationally helps me to be culturally informed. The personal trauma healing work that I have done allows me to understand trauma from an experiential standpoint. I like to help clients develop more self awareness and self compassion. I believe that healing is a very personal journey. Clients say that I am non judgmental and affirming.
