I first joined HP's Office Productivity Division in Crowthorne as Word Processing Product Manager and was responsible for selecting a third party word processing package for HP to integrate into their office software solution. I was then responsible for launching the new product suite worldwide and traveled extensively across the USA and Europe to launch the products to the HP salesforce, the press and analyst community. I was then responsible for launching the new product suite worldwide and traveled extensively across the USA and Europe to launch the products to the HP salesforce, the press and analyst community. I was responsible for all supporting marketing activities for this worldwide launch, including sales literature, training materials, promotional videos and PR. After this successful launch I was promoted to Product Group Marketing Manager where I was responsible for a team of product managers handling worldwide factory marketing for all HP's office productivity software. This included Database, Electronic Mail, Word Processing and Connectivity. I worked extremely closely with the lab at our division and was also responsible for producing the product spec, marketing plans and the worldwide sales targets for the products under my control.
