I was a school teacher for a few years and loved it. I realized that my true passion was helping students learn and grow in new and exciting ways, so I started offering unforgettable adventure trips that would expand their learning beyond the traditional classroom. Unfortunately, my other passion, sales & marketing had a stronger pull, so I quit teaching and became an entrepreneur eventually owning several businesses.In 2005, we launched our new International Education Program and welcomed my first Service Learning Group. My heart danced with joy as I got to see my participants engaging with the local community and learning about Jamaican culture firsthand. My first brand, Jamaica Volunteer Programs was born.
