Account Manager in New Systems Sales, working primarily with contractors and engineers located in Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Maryland, and Washington DC. Began as an intern in college, attended an extensive six-month sales training program in Wisconsin, and then returned to the Pittsburgh market. Primary responsibilities include working hand in hand with engineers to design HVAC systems to provide them with creative solutions to address the end user's wants and needs. While also working with contractors to assist them in securing projects and fulfilling orders to successfully build commercial-sized buildings.

After completing GTP, I returned to the local sales office (Pittsburgh) as an Associate Account Manager. I spent time with account managers within the New Systems Sales team and learning how to apply the knowledge from GTP to a real world setting.

The Trane Graduate Training Program (GTP) - a 6-month classroom training program designed to prepare engineers for a career in technical sales. The program is geared toward developing sales engineers to sell Trane Technologies’ complex HVAC systems and services to commercial and industrial customers. Upon completion of the Program, you will assume responsibilities of an Associate Account Manager focusing on Systems, Services, or Controls within a pre-assigned office location.Started in 1926 and recognized as the industry's most comprehensive training program, the GTP provides you with intensive technical, business, sales, and leadership training, with an emphasis on maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards.

Internship between Junior and Senior year. Worked on the building automation team while gaining experience within the service and new systems businesses of Trane. Spent time learning how to design and implement Trane Controls to best fit each customer as well as going on numerous site visits and sales calls. Also spent time in the field with technicians and learning that side of the business.

Internship between Sophomore and Junior year, as well as during holiday breaks. During the second year of this internship, I used my knowledge from the previous summer to focus on the movement along the project for each DOT and making the relationship with the customer as smooth as possible. I focused on the mobile app development and design for bridge inspectors to use in the field with a tablet/iPad.

Internship between Freshman and Sophomore year, as well as during holiday breaks. Worked for InspectTech, which is a bridge inspection database used by state DOT's across the country. Some of my job responsibilities included: running tests on the program to find defects and then reporting the defect to the software development team, creating forms for the program, re-organizing documents for easier access, and cleaning up miscellaneous defects.

Worked in Best Buy's mobile department as a sales consultant. Also was involved with Computers and Connected Devices. Became certified as an Apple Professional.

Started refereeing pee-wee soccer and covered all age groups all the way up to men's leagues. Worked as a center Referee and assistant Referee.
