As a Social Impact/Grants Coordinator at National Action Network (NAN) for over nine years, I have been instrumental in identifying and securing grants that align with NAN's mission and vision. I have leveraged my skills in social media, marketing, public speaking, and networking to increase NAN's visibility, reach, and impact. I have also contributed to the development and implementation of grant proposals, reports, and budgets, working collaboratively with the leadership and the staff of NAN. My core competencies include grant research, writing, management, and compliance, as well as communication, relationship-building, and advocacy. I am passionate about NAN's work in promoting civil rights, social justice, and economic empowerment for the African American community and other marginalized groups. I am motivated to use my expertise and experience to support NAN's goals and values, and to bring diverse perspectives and insights to the team.
