Hello! I was born/raised in the Washington D. C. area. I am very passionate about helping people who are at-risk, hurting, and in need of encouragement/hope; this passion has led me into the fields of mental health and chaplaincy. I have several years of experience working with at-risk individuals from diversified backgrounds for which I helped to turn around their lives for the betterment of their future. Some examples are my work for Mental Health organizations such as Advent Home Learning Center (an organization that helped to provide rehabilitation for boys from the ages of 12-18), Miracle Meadows (an organization that sought to rehabilitate boys and girls that were diagnosed with ADHD, depression and many more conditions), Park ridge Valley Hospital (in a mental health unit for adolescent boys and girls), and Inova Fairfax Hospital (in a psychiatric unit for adolescents). I studied Theology, Christian Ministry, and Church Music at John Wesley College (also known as Laurel University, John Wesley University, and now Piedmont International University). I had the privilege of receiving a Masters of Divinity at Andrews University. I have had the wonderful opportunity to serve as a part of the hospital chaplaincy team at Kettering Hospital, Meritus Medical Center, and currently at Inova Fairfax Hospital.Some of my skills and abilities include: good communication skills, a friendly personality, good organization skills, good time management, a great ability to work as a part of a team (a good team player), good work ethics, excellent reliability, diligence, and honesty/sincerity. I believe in the power of team work to achieve tasks.
