This Active Transport Forum ANZ was created for an Australia- and NZ-wide online event where participants share, learn and network in a fun, interactive and engaging way.This Forum created a unique opportunity for everyone involved in the active and sustainable transport field, at all levels of government, private sector and local community.I created and managed this event with an extraordinary team, which included speakers and workshops, that formed a catalyst for powerful conversations for people who are out to make a difference creating safe and healthy travel in local communities.This network and community has confidence to have conversations and take actions, trust in each other, and the freedom to achieve anything.

I managed the day-to-day running of office, financial and administration matters in a small family-owned business. One day a week I jumped in a van and couriered as well to understand the clients' and the needs as well as what our couriers dealt with.

With two co-founders, I set up two bedroom furniture retail stores and managed small, dedicated sales staff. This also included setting up staff procedures, training programs, and sales information systems.I loved the direct interactions with my customers and helping them create remarkable bedrooms.

Self-employed start-up importer and distributor of European fashion spectacle frames and sunglasses to the Australia and New Zealand markets.Travelled throughout Australia and NZ and loved introducing new, fancy, and different frames to these markets.Managed all aspects of business including sales, staff, accounting, and import.

I managed a sales team selling plastics and chemicals through the Australian market. I also managed key accounts, developed new business, and helped increase my clients' share in the building and industrial markets through listening and learning what was there for the.I developed trusted relationships with our suppliers in North adn South America, through consistent and open communication as well as visiting them in their locations.

I created a new role within this company of 2-3 days as Account Manager and 2-3 days remaining as Quality and Product Development Manager. This allowed me to directly connect what we did in the factory to what the client needed and wanted. This empowered my colleagues in the decisions they made and had a huge bearing in creating a profitable workplace that was also fulfilling for all who worked there.

I joined this global company straight out of University as a laboratory technician. During the next 8 years I enjoyed numerous roles in the laboratory managing $million budgets with a dozen staff, then progressed into Quality and Product Development management roles which required a company-wide approach to harnessing diverse teams on a continuous improvement path in products, services and procedures.
