About Maurice Van Beers

With over 20 years of experience in international relations and policy analysis, I am project leader for the Fair Work Monitor, just transition expert and coordinator Latin America for CNV Internationaal, a Dutch trade union organization that works to improve workers rights in the global supply chains of sugarcane, palm oil, metals and carbon mining. I lead a team of professionals to push for international responsible business conduct, living wage, just transition, and data innovation in the region.I am passionate about creating systems change for a more sustainable, peaceful, and just world in times of globalization and climate crisis. I have a strong background in sustainable and regional development with degrees from Harvard University and Universidad de Los Andes.
