I interviewed farmers and other sources in and around the agricultural sector to understand how, as a society, we value the people working to produce food. My conversations led to a series in the Saturday edition of a Dutch national newspaper, het Nederlands Dagblad, among others. To create opzoeknaardemakers.nl, I collaborated with programmers and designers, worked with Wordpress and Elementor, and optimized copy for search engines (SEO).

I headed an international team of fellow interns to organize and promote the global JusticeMakers Competition. The USD 140,000 project identified the world’s 12 most advanced social entrepreneurs at the crossroads between defending prisoners’ legal rights and HIV/AIDS advocacy. In the process I proved the communicative hub, liaising with funder Levi Strauss Foundation, applicants, the media, external stakeholders, a panel of expert judges, and a team of external screeners, volunteers, and translators.
