I am an Environmental Engineer graduated from the Engineering School of Antioquia and got my Specialization in Public Utilities Services (electricity, natural gas, water, sewage, waste handling) from the University of San Buenaventura, Colombia.Currently I am part of EPM Group where I am providing support and advise in the development of the integrated solid waste management business and leading its circular economy strategy. I was part of MGM Innova’s Team up to May 2013 where I performed as a Global Project Delivery Manager in charge of climate change and sustainability projects coordination, implementation and execution, ensuring that company resources were properly deployed guaranteeing a successful and timely delivery. Previously at MGM Innova, acted as a Senior Project Engineer where I was responsible for research, development and implementation of the technical components of projects and innovative initiatives that help to mitigate greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions worldwide. In 2005, served MGM International, where I was in charge of writing Project Design Documents (PDDs) and feasibility studies. I also conducted engineering and field work for landfill gas projects and supported the entire Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) cycle of dozens of projects worldwide in different sectoral scopes, such as waste handling and disposal, coal mining, renewable energy, and energy efficiency, among others. In 2008, I moved to MGM International’s Beijing office where I was in charge of handling the portfolio of the Company’s Projects in China as well as providing technical support to the Company’s operations in Southeast Asia. During 2009, I worked as a Project Manager at MGM International where I was responsible for the development and execution of several CDM projects in Latin America.
