• Responsible for the activities of purchases of productive materials and automotive supplies, accompanying and supporting the areas of Engineering, Sales and Quality for the costing of new products and new projects (BOM), aligned with the quality requirements for the Automotive Industry (IATF / VDA) / ISO14000), ensuring compliance with the deadlines and targets adhering to the Compliance and Procedures rules established by the Company;• Control of purchase orders, analyzing the quantity of consumption, comparing with the quantity requested in the requisition of purchases;• Keep suppliers up-to-date with the Standards and Procedures in accordance with Quality and Procurement agreements, ensuring clear communication between Continental and our supplier base;• Execution of the Sourcing processes according to the current procedure, considering the objectives established in the project, ensuring that the financial results and compliance standards are complied with;• Perform purchasing activities in highly complex categories or commodities;• Perform business case with costing considerations including costing and BOM pricing for new automotive projects;• Active participation in the activities in which purchases support other departments, prioritizing according to the alignment among theparticipating areas;• Issue management reports, showing through worksheets and presentations the results achieved and / or expected;• Support the Audit, providing clarifications and providing the requested documentation;• Support the coordination and supervision of purchases with strategic information, aiding in the decision-making process.

• Responsible for purchasing, demand planning (stock) and logistics of main Company's Commodity (lead purchase USD 200MM/year) in the Strategic Purchasing Department, reporting to Global Purchasing Team. Strong knowledge in total cost investments, implementation of Strategic Sourcing Concepts and Tools, cost reduction, process improvement, quality requirements, KPI creation, project management and Business Excellence. Analytical and negotiation skills to execute costs reduction strategies. Responsible for evaluating, qualifying and hiring transport suppliers for the 14 subsidiaries and 3 distribution centers; provided support to the 6 plants in Brazil and responsible for managing all material and service purchasing processes for the BUs.
