I've long had passion about entrepreneurism and have founded a number of companies to address new opportunities reaching out through my network of contacts to pull together teams to help me build these organisations. I enjoy mentoring my employees helping them to reach their full potential by guiding them in the strategies and ethics necessary to build and grow a successful business.For over fifty years my focus has been the telecommunications industry. Initially serving in the armed forces giving me early command experience, then working for large international organisations before establishing my own business. Throughout this period I've followed the major changes in the market capitalising on those trends before many others. I built my profile and contacts by attending and speaking at international conferences and trade shows. Mobile communications was a key trend I identified early enabling me to focus my business on helping organisations take advantage of the benefits of mobility.Initially this was based merely on the advice that I could provide assisting organisations like Nokia and Vodafone to enter the Australian market. Over time however I positioned TeleResources Engineering as a major force in the design and testing of mobile networks. I achieved this by forming key relationships with international companies that possessed solutions that had application in the ASEAN market. Some of those companies we have now successfully represented for over thirty years.I'm privileged to have an extensive network of friends and associates that have helped me along the way.

In these positions he had full financial accountability including the recruitment and management of specialist staff.In 2001 TeleResources Pty Ltd was sold to TeleResources Engineering (Aust) Pty Ltd with the company expanding its interests from consultancy into engineering services and software products for the wireless industry.TeleResources today is Australia's leading independent wireless strategy and solutions company with clients including all the mobile network operators in Australia and New Zealand plus most of the major vendors to the industry.In 2012 TeleResources established subsidiary companies in Pakistan and Thailand encouraged by the recent award of 3G licences and the need for skilled engineering services to upgrade existing networks in those countries.

Maurie was the inaugural CEO of the company which won projects in 3G/4G network design, test and optimisation within the Kingdom.
