Developed and lead a new payment processor implementation in the NYTImes.com React/Redux checkout flow for users outside the US, by embedding logic in the front-end to call newly developed RESTful endpoints in our subscription platform. Allowing storing new financial instruments, tokenizing of credit cards and subscription purchase. Impacting 120.000 users/month Developed a new ETL pipeline for batch processing that updates subscriptions status for 200.000 daily home delivery accounts using DataFlow, optimizing processing time by 300% and reducing cost by $5000/month Developed an orchestration micro service between the home delivery and digital subscriptions platforms to facilitate switches back and forth for NYTimes subscribers through RESTful calls Helped developed and upgrade the Apple backend receipt verification service with RESTful endpoints for our subscription platform. Including RESTful endpoints, batch jobs and PubSub messaging in order to accommodate new standards for iOS 7+ in order to keep supporting third party subscriptions through iTunes Developed and helped launch SubLink (Internal micro service) that reconciles print subscriptions with digital subscriptions, by adding new endpoints to the API service, implementing and improving performance for cron jobs
