­Directed 35 Departmental employees, managing dry goods, cheese ripening and finished goods stores.­Oversaw production planning, monitoring and procurement of all packaging materials.­Supervised the movement, distribution and storage of supplies and materials to identify and resolve bottlenecks and security risks. ­Instituted sound control systems to identify and eliminate causes of pilferage, and address transgressions.­Instituted critical controls, project-managing warehouse utilisation, month-end and year-end stock counts.­Monitored supply chain logistics with retail, wholesale chain store and distributors nationwide to optimise efficiencies and drive down costs.Analysed budgets and processed shipments. ­Dispatched finished goods to Distribution Centres, arranging transport logistics from off-site warehouses.

­Managed product, scenario- and ABC costing for 3 factories, assigning detailed costs to all products and services in line with actual consumption.­Controlled work-in-progress (WIP) capital for various projects and ad hoc CapEx requirements.­Managed WIP for partially finished goods, ensuring accuracy of stock value on the balance sheet.­Instituted internal controls, delivering budgets and forecasts, and reporting to Management monthly.­Handled inter-company transactions, managing Supply Contracts and Creditor Divisions.­Investigated and remediated factory floor losses, Purchase Price Variance (PPV) and Bill of Materials (BOM) variances.

­Supported Senior Management Accountant at a flagship production branch in Clayville (Midrand, Gauteng) – while also leading and directing the Creditors Department.­Concurrently, managed full finances for a smaller production branch in Cape Town (Western Cape).­Assisted in implementing a new Warehouse Management system at the Cape Town branch.­Monthly, analysed variances in fixed and variable costs, reconciling intercompany accounts and updating Balanced Scorecards.Balanced the Stock and General Ledgers, allocating WIP overflow to usage variance, and reconciling cost of sales with transfer pricing.

­In career entry-level role, assisted the Senior Management Accountant in full financial management of the Clayville factory.Helped move the Mayfair factory into Clayville – an approved ZAR 100 Mil project.
