Tapavino is a cosy Gastro tapas restaurant in Costa del Sol, Spain where I worked as Assistant Manager during the 2019 summer season. In charge of the Front of the House area I was the face of the restaurant in service hours, arranging reservations, dealing with suppliers, setting up the restaurant and organizing the team, comply with all Health and Safety standards, welcoming customers, coordinating with the kitchen any changes in the menu, banking and closing duties.

As a Team Leader in Pret a Manger I was in charge of creating all the conditions required for an effective shift by assisting and supporting every member of the team. Whether I was in am opening shift (early morning) or a closing shift (late evening) my duties consisted of running the opening/closing protocols for the shops, keeping track of all daily health and safety procedures, enforcing the company's standards in production and customer service. Till management, banking and cash collection were also everyday tasks. I regard making introductory work with new members by training and coaching them as the most enjoyable part of this job as well as face to face customer service.Awarded 10 times with the Pret a Manger Mistery shoper Super Outstanding card for customer service.

As a graduated barista in the Pret a Manger academy I was in charge of the coffee area in my assigned shop, preparing all hot beverages in the menu to Pret a Manger standards, being responsible for all supplies and equipment related to the coffee area as well as briefing the team in coffee related knowledge and training the new barista candidates. In this role I enjoyed being introduced to the world of coffee culture and I furthermore enjoyed creating a buzz for the interaction of the team and customers during service.
