The client engaged Accenture to support a major SAP Consolidation program finalized to “move” the Company onto a common and upgraded SAP environment.The project was launched in 2006 and has been deployed in Italy, UK, US, Belgium, Brazil and Poland.My Role:- Program /Project Lead- Plan and manage Project Team’s activities (about 100 people from the client – both Business and ICT, Accenture consultants, external suppliers);- Full responsibility on main project deliverables - Define and monitor the overall project plan (as well as project resources workload, project schedule and budget)- Prepare and conduct weekly progress status reports with the Operative team, fortnightly review with CIO and project governance team as well as monthly steering committee with main C-Level stakeholders.Results Achieved: about 9.000 users are now going to work on the new joint platform. The solution has dramatically reduced the TCO impact of ERP applications on ICT budget and has enabled more efficient processes and intercompany transactions.

The client has engaged Accenture to review the current systems’ landscape merging the two SAP instances into one single environment. In particular the consolidation foresees the Eastern Hub (Poland, Russia and Bulgaria) moving into the Western Hub (all other countries). Some numbers related to the client merge: 3 Companies, 21 Plants, 4 Sales Organizations, 15 Purchasing Organizations and more then 600 users involved. The technical merge will be performed using SAP SLO tools.My Role:- Plan and manage Project Team’s activities (about 40 people from the client, SAP Team in Germany, 4 Accenture consultants);- Obtain the “buy-in” and the right commitment from the entire organization (Functional teams, Local IT, Concurrent Projects);- Keep the project “on schedule” and “on budget”;- Continuous follow-up on the “open points” and on the main criticalities (e.g. the short timeframe);- Prepare and conduct weekly progress status reports with client
