I am an experienced leader, with proven success in managing major enterprise programs and developing global corporate methodology for project / program and portfolio management, performance measurement and educational programs. For the past twenty-five years, I have been helping individuals and companies with their project management needs.As executive director of PM Tech, a training and consulting company, I have established relationships with executive leaders in various organizations.I am qualified in strategic and operational planning, cost management, change management, resource management, team building, problem solving, process improvement and communication.For 14 years, I held management positions at Hewlett-Packard. My work focused on forming high performance teams to achieve results and strategic objectives.I am co-author of the books "PMO - Projects, Programs and Portfolio Office", "How to become a project management professional" and "Project scope management".I have Master's in Business Administration (MBA) and in Computer Science, a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and in Computer Science and I am pursuing a doctorate. I teach as an adjunct professor for graduate students at various universities, develop courses in project management and agile methods, present papers in Brazil, the USA and Europe and write articles for some magazines.Regarding certifications, I am a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP), PMO-CC, COBIT 5 and ITIL Foundations.I have extensive experience working in voluntary activities. As a volunteer at the Project Management Institute (PMI), I was the first president of the PMI-RS chapter. I had other roles as a PMI volunteer as: member of the Chapter Members Advisory Group (CMAG), mentor for Region 13 (Brazil), PMI-ISSIG regional ambassador and member of several PMI committees.
