Mauro Tucci litigates complex commercial cases and defends clients facing white collar criminal charges as a member of Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC. His experience in federal and state courts also includes regulatory enforcement (FDA), internal investigations, trade secret, ERISA, labor/employment, consumer fraud, bankruptcy, arbitration, and class actions.Mauro was previously an associate with McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter. He served as law clerk to the Honorable Marie P. Simonelli, J.A.D. (then J.S.C.) of the Superior Court of New Jersey and interned for the Honorable William J. Martini, U.S.D.J. of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.Mauro earned both his law degree and an MBA in finance, with honors, from Seton Hall University. He graduated with honors from Colgate University as a political science major, having been admitted to the political science and economics honor societies.Mauro is active with the Essex County Bar Association, currently serving as a member of its Board of Trustees and several committees. In 2015 he was recognized with the Young Lawyer Achievement Award. He previously served as a member of the Essex County Law Day planning committee and coordinated the annual Apruzzese High School Mock Trial Competition in Essex County for the New Jersey State Bar Association. Mauro is also a former director of the Northeast Spa and Pool Association's Metro Chapter.Mauro frequently presents at seminars on a variety of topics, including civil trial preparation, e-discovery, and arbitration.
