Entrepreneur since the age of 19 by starting and running companies (because I didn't know I couldn't). A woman business owner or a woman in business for over 40 years well before it was popular. I learned the value of surrounding one self with smart, ethical, talented and credible people. I believe in giving credit where credit is due because it always takes a team to accomplish meaningful lasting things. Served a Colorado county in an economic development organization as President/CEO and learned valuable lessons on how to work for a board made up of multiple strong, credible, smart and opinionated leaders in their own fields. Former President of 12,700+ acre family-owned Golder Ranch in southeastern Montana. Was an Assistant Director at an energy policy center at Colorado State University (CSU) for 6.5 years. Have worked extensively with Colorado State University's Energy Institute's Powerhouse Energy Campus. I am the former Executive Director of the Colorado Energy Research Collaboratory facilitating the partnership between Colorado School of Mines, University of Colorado-Boulder, CSU and National Renewable Energy Laboratory as we seek to enhance energy research and innovative technologies that make a lasting difference in clean energy for the world. Having officially retired January 2024 as the Exec Director of the Collaboratory, I will be available for consulting opportunities if they are a good fit for all parties involved.
