Over the last 34 years, RTMC has renovated, repaired and revitalized 3,500 homes, while investing more than $28 million into Montgomery County’s low-income communities with the help of more than 50,000 community volunteers. As Executive Director, Maury led the team to achieve the goals of the organization's strategic plan.

The Northwest Arkansas Children’s Shelter is a private, non-profit organization that provides 24-hour residential, emergency triage care for children throughout Arkansas who are victims of abandonment, abuse or neglect. The mission is to provide these children in crisis with a safe haven, high-quality care and hope for the future. As Executive Director, Maury managed a $3.7M budget and led an amazing team who worked together to innovate and expand shelter services. Our collective achievements during my tenure have resulted in some impressive results, including:1) The Children's Shelter's marked our 25th Anniversary of serving our community's most vulnerable children. We can all be proud that we have served as the safety net for more than 12,000 traumatized children from across the state during their greatest time of need. 2) To further help children in foster care, we expanded our offerings to include an innovative new foster parent training and support program in four counties. 3) We opened The Shelter Shop to further educate our community about the shelter's mission and provide new ways for the community to donate in-kind goods and volunteer to help the kids. The shop also now provides an important new revenue stream that the shelter will benefit from for years to come.4) In addition to improving shelter services and operations, I am proud that approval was received from the state to expand the mission through the establishment of Hope Academy of Northwest Arkansas, the first K-6 open enrollment charter school in the state focused on children who have experienced trauma. It is exciting to imagine the great future impact Hope Academy will have for so many more vulnerable children and their families in Northwest Arkansas.

Parenting Journey's innovative, therapeutically-based parent development programs have been developed, refined, independently evaluated, and replicated in over 500 sites throughout New England and New York. As Executive Director, Maury led the development and implementation of an organizational sustainability plan which expanded Parenting Journey nationally.

Maury was the Vice President of Grand Circle Foundation, the corporate foundation for Grand Circle Corporation, the largest U.S. based tour operator of international vacations for Americans over 50. Maury led the company’s worldwide giving and service programs that supported more than 100 rural schools around the world. For nearly five years of her tenure at Grand Circle, Maury also led the corporation’s day-to-day human resource functions including recruitment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, training, and performance management for 500 employees in Boston and 2500 employees in 35 international offices.

Prior to joining Grand Circle, Maury spent nearly ten years working internationally for UNICEF in Mauritius, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Switzerland, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights in Rwanda, and as a consultant to CARE and Population Services International in Zimbabwe.
