About Mauricio Sánchez

I consider myself as a seasoned professional with 25 years of experience in multinational companies such as Pepsico and Nestlè in México, leading Marketing and Sales teams, who genuinely enjoy inspiring people by creating positive energy and cultivating a collaborative culture to deliver positive impact through customer and consumer-centric campaigns and innovation. My particular interest is in making things happen and take actions considering the short and long term vision being a good observer and listener with an ability to connect easily with people. I think my positive attitude helped me to adapt to difficult circumstances like company transitions and be an agent of change in organisations. Thirsty for learning new skills I recently did a stop and decided to make a major career move by embarking on a Masters in Digital Management at Hyper Island UK in 2019. This was an opportunity to refresh me and have a better understanding of the abilities and agile mindset needed to solve complex problems in business and society, gaining continuous exposure to the facilitation of creative workshops, design thinking, agile, prototyping, human-centric approach, innovation and reframing the problems with strategic clarity. At the end of this journey, I developed my Masters Thesis on How to overcome and prevent the difficulties of ageing within ageing LGBT+50 and create a better-connected community through a digital platform, taking in consideration inclusive design and psychological safety. I am looking to work with purpose-driven organisations where I can empower creative confidence in teams, support transformation processes, transitions, strategise beyond the customer experience, prototype and test solutions to create new value propositions for businesses or social impact initiatives. I describe myself as a hardcore curious about people behaviour, places, technology & culture. I love meeting new people, networking and I am passionate about putting people first and the discovery of the emerging technologies that will shape our future. I embrace disruptive thinking and curious about the challenges society will face in the future. “Never stop learning, because life never stops teaching”
