I have been very blessed in my Career. From the time I was a young child, my dream was to become a classroom teacher. I found this passion thrive when I took a position as a substitute paraprofessional. I knew then that I needed to make this dream come alive.Soon after I was offered a 1:1 paraprofessional position and began coursework. Throughout my journey with two small children, I graduated with Honors from SUNY New Paltz with a concentration in English for my Bachelor’s degree and completed my Master’s degree strong in Childhood Education 1-6 with a STEM concentration. My experience in the classroom setting has been both remarkable and rewarding. As a substitute, I have had the opportunity to expand my skills in a variety of areas; I have taught in every grade level, special areas such as Art and Music, and Reading Academic Intervention Services (AIS). The skills and knowledge I have attained along my journey have been gratifying and I have such excitement to share it with the students of the future.
