Senior Policy Officer for Visa Policy at the Consular Affairs and Visa Policy Department.

Organising visitors programmes for high potentials, influentials and journalists from abroad to give them a taste of Dutch expertise in for example the water sector, smart cities, etc.

Policy officer at the Southeast Asia desk. In my role of desk officer for Indonesia and Myanmar I was the focal point for the bilateral relations between the Netherlands and both Indonesia and Myanmar. Responsible for organising a number of high level visits, for example the visits of the Netherlands Minister of Foreign Affairs to Indonesia and Myanmar, of the Netherlands Prime Minister to Indonesia and the Indonesian President to the Netherlands.

Policy officer for East Asia. Together with my colleagues I prepared the State Visits to Japan and the Republic of Korea in 2014 and the State Visit to China in 2015 and was responsible for the dossiers for the King and Minister of Foreign Affairs during these visits. During the Global Conference on CyberSpace in the Hague I was liaison officer for the delegation of the Republic of Korea and prepared the visit of the Korean Minister of Foreign Affairs to the Netherlands.

Worked on a project on e-diplomacy, researching how Ministries of Foreign Affairs around the world are dealing with digital/e-diplomacy issues. Among other things I worked on the Digital Diplomacy Bibliography that has been published by the USC Center on Public Diplomacy (CPD) and the Netherlands Institute of International Relations, Clingendael.

Responsibilities include assisting the Policy Officer working on Japan, North & South Korea and supporting other colleagues in my department, for example by assessing policy papers, evaluating project reports, drafting of policy memorandum. I am currently coordinating and assisting the preparations for the political consultations between The Netherlands and Japan in 2013, and organising various events during the Ambassador's Conference of 2014. Besides, I am part of a project group that organises a number of events together with the city of Amsterdam, Clingendael, etc. which have to do with the cooperation between The Netherlands and Asia.

Secretary of the commission established to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Japan Studies student organization. I was responsible for co-organizing various events and keeping minutes of our meetings.

Tutoring first year students of the Language and Culture of Japan program, giving weekly meetings to help those who needed assistance.

Tutoring Trade Management for Asia students who had difficulties with the business economics course. This included preparing the classes, communication with the students, helping with homework and give clarification about hard subjects.
