I am a passionate teacher and award-winning songwriter and performer. I have been a performing songwriter for 19 years, both as a solo artist and with various bands, most notably the award-winning all-female Berklee rock band Flight of Fire. I have toured internationally, opened for/performed/recorded with various A-list artists including Bon Jovi, Melissa Etheridge and Cherie Currie of The Runaways. I have won awards from institutions like the Hollywood Music In Media Awards, the New England Music Awards and the Limelight Music Awards. I am a published songwriter with Marmoset Music (among others), and have been working as an online session musician since 2019. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music in 2014 with a double major in songwriting and composition. My teaching experience ranges from individual and group instruction in voice, guitar, piano, bass, ukulele and songwriting to ensemble directing and volunteer work with small groups of all ages to designing curriculum for and directing music camps and workshops. It is important to me that my skills and passion are used to improve the lives of others. I volunteer as a band coach and instructor for the Girls Rock Campaign Boston and the Ladies Rock Camp. I wrote, engineered and directed The Stolen Voices Project, a multimedia project designed to educate about sexual violence, for which I was awarded the Walter W. Harp Liberal Arts Music And Society Award from Berklee College of Music as well as a Daily Point of Light award from the George H.W. Bush Administration. I have experience teaching students with special needs, mental health conditions and speakers of other languages.
