I’m Monique Aviña, a proud first-generation graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia. My most recent experience includes developing branding designs for small businesses and creating motion graphics for clients, such as Headspace. My experiences have allowed me to wear a variety of hats which has greatly developed my design and interpersonal skills. I hope to make a impact with my projects by providing a different perspective within my team as a first-generation, gender fluid Chicana. From our daily dose of social media to the stitches in clothing patterns, design is always around us. It ultimately determines our experience of absolutely anything in our lives. It’s essential to have diverse perspectives flowing throughout the design process because otherwise such colorful voices will never be heard. I hope to create a strong voice for my clients and others within every pixel I place in my designs.
