In 2014, we organised it online, whereas in 2015, we organised it in Sri Lanka. 2. Sustainaware: A Global project around Sustainability based in Slovenia supported by EU. We conducted workshops and meetups facilitated by Abhishek, in the form of local actions towards sustainability and to build consensus on what sustainability should mean in different contexts. All this fed in to the overall suggestions/manifesto we contributed in the making of Paris Agreement as part of Civil Society. 3. Relead: We wanted Relead to be a leadership platform and creating products in form of workshops - from a 3 hour workshop to a week-long one. Worked as a Customer Service Representative. After the alternative university experience, wanted to step into the real world. Even though a call centre was never in my scheme of things to do, I wanted to do something that needed me to be just a follower and not a leader. Motif was perfect for that. Worked for departments managing clients like Expedia and Priceline. It gave me much needed exposure into how the tech side of travel and tourism industry works.

Joined an alternative University to expand my limited understanding about social justice, sustainability and self-designed learning. The University gave me multiple perspectives from different stakeholders in the society - Entrepreneurs, Social Change makers, Organic Farmers, Artists, spiritual teachers. However, so many perspectives and thinking paralysed me to some extent. Founded the Entrepreneurship Development Cell for Sir Padampat Singhania University, built a core team and conceptualised the organisation. Ours being a new University, folks were more keen on traditional career paths and Entrepreneurship was still an alien idea. To build it from the ground up, we got the University’s buy-in to start Project Endeavour - a 3 credit course, where folks were allowed to team up - and do a real life project. This course was supposed to build the ground for bright ideas to emerge, which could later be incubated as full scale entrepreneurial ventures. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, the Entrepreneurship Development Cell of Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur organised TEDxSPSU in March, 2011 and 2012. The major reason to organise these events was to start a conversation in the college about big, bold ideas and about different life perspectives beyond money and placements, by bringing in influential voices from the community.

We ended up having a team of about 35 students, all contributing to creating a physical space. For the first time, we were using our Mechanical Engineering lab to make something useful and real. People who were good at writing and drawing were expressing themselves on the walls of the college. Making those lifeless white walls a bit more colorful and meaningful.
