Kia ora! My name is Max. I am entering my fourth year at the University of Canterbury, studying a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) specializing in Mechatronics Engineering. I am especially passionate about software and data engineering, learning about new systems and concepts, and collaborating with others to find solutions to problems.I balance my studies with training and competing at an international level in Athletics, now primarily as a Discus thrower. Balancing this busy schedule means I need to be able to manage my time efficiently and quickly pivot my focus. In my spare time I also enjoy playing basketball, listening to music and hanging out with my mates.
