A contract role leading PR activity to promote the marquee Border-Gavaskar Test Series between Australia and India. Focused on driving attendance and engagement with media and multicultural communities.

The ICC representative for PR, media and marketing leading in to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 co-hosted by the United States and West Indies. Working out of the Cricket West Indies office in Antigua, my role is to develop and support the execution of the integrated marketing and communications program to generate significant global coverage, provide value to ICC commercial and broadcast partners and drive local ticket sales for the event.

Within this versatile role, I helped bridge the ICC media, marketing, digital and partnership teams on the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023. This consultancy role included:- Leading the media team for the Qualifier in Zimbabwe- Delivering the UNICEF partnership at the World Cup in India, which saw the ICC launch a gender equality based cricket learning program to 1.2 million schools. - PR activation executions across India during the event- Delivering Global Trophy Tour stops in the East Asia Pacific and Americas region

Led the media and communications strategy for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, an event that saw over 750,000 fans come through the gates to see the world's best players from 16 international teams. Highlights included leading on the event's Fixture Launch announcement and Captain's Media Day, which generated global media coverage and iconic imagery.

A contract role as the primary media contact for the BBL squad, managing day-to-day media, broadcast requirements, player appearances and digital content.With a can-do approach, over the 14-game season we provided 157 media opportunities outside of contractual requirements. This resulted with over 1000 articles published on the team and over 200 stories run on TV news.

Privileged to have worked on the ICC T20 World Cup Australia 2020, the pinnacle global event for the fastest growing format of cricket. The women's event culminated with a record 86,174 people attending the final at the MCG - the largest ever crowd for a women's sporting event in Australia and second most globally.With the Local Organising Committee, my role (in a world class team) was to develop and execute the media and communications strategy with the objective of driving ticket sales. Relished the challenge of a broad portfolio, which encompassed media engagement, digital strategy, internal comms, stakeholder comms and PR event management. The role required close collaboration with community engagement, with so many great stories to tell about the impact of the event locally in Australia!My proudest personal achievement was delivering a national Trophy Tour program with 68 activities over 44 days, sharing stories of inspiring women and girls in sport around the country.

On secondment with the ICC, was part of a world class team delivering digital output from matches and content sessions at the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. Overall the tournament gathered 3.2 billion video views across owned channels, more than any other sports event in history.Role included collaboration with broadcast and communications teams to drive efficiencies on match day to deliver innovative, best-in-class content.

Worked with an ambitious team aiming to leverage the growth of cricket in Hong Kong. A role that began developing marketing and media strategies to increase promotion of the game, morphed into responsibility for leading the organisation of two major events. The events punched above their weight and I had the opportunity to be hands on across every facet of the business. This included the sale of franchises and broadcast rights in addition to event management. Such was the impact of the events, I was able to secure partnerships with blue chip sponsors KPMG, Accenture and Hublot.Partnerships helped grow our viewership on the events exponentially and from my arrival in 2016, Cricket Hong Kong's social media audience rose from 13,000 to over 300,000 – more followers than any other sport or sports event in Hong Kong.

Voluntarily co-ordinated the off-field management of Eastern Suburbs Cricket Club - the largest single cricket club in NSW. My role involved;- Managing the recruitment and retention of coaches and players. The club lifted from 18th to 4th in two seasons in the Club Championship- Increasing sponsorship revenue, which was tripled in the first two years.- Developing & overseeing implementation of senior & junior cricket structures.
