Born in Tucson Arizona, Max Amini moved to Los Angeles to study theatre, film, and television at UCLA before launching his career in the entertainment industry. In 2002, Max Amini began his stand-up career and has since, with the help of his dedicated fanbase, been on numerous television shows, films, and international tours. In collaboration with his production company, Abstraction Media, Max has produced for Netflix, Voice of America, and The Discovery Channel. Recent projects include original stand-up special Enissa Amani: Erhenwort, a 12-episode reality car show MaxWheel, and a hit 24-episode talk show for international network Voice of America Minutes with Max Amini. Max’s first feature film, James The Second, a coming of age drama is set to release in 2022.Through his productions, Max Amini seeks to deconstruct cultural boundaries and challenge social standards. Max Amini brings eccentric fun energy with him wherever he goes that the crowd and viewers through the screen can feel. Through Abstraction Media and his work, Max Amini seeks to tell and create stories that often go untold in the mainstream media.
