I am a recent graduate of Vanderbilt University and first-year medical student at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. I majored in Biochemistry and Chemical Biology and was awarded summa cum laude. My wet-lab research focused on the discovery of novel natural products through the aid of computational methods. I received honors in Biochemistry and Chemical Biology for my investigation into antibiotic drug discovery. My clinical research, on the other hand, examined long COVID symptomatology. I have experience in enrolling patients in the emergency department and analyzing clinical data. Outside of my academic interests, I was a student-athlete and a member of the Vanderbilt University Varsity Men's Cross Country Team. I also participated in a variety of community engagement efforts that focused on the greater Nashville area. Ultimately, I strive to be a compassionate physician who is at the forefront of biomedical innovation, while improving local population health.
