I was the responsible person for running test programs that involve the sample stations and our quality control systems and processes, this includes the all important precision and bias testing programs.As apart of that position I had been called upon to assist the mines when they have run into dificulty with their sampling processes and equipment, helping them to overcome problem areas and also teaching them how to do bias testing.I wrote procedures, work instructions, manuals, inspection documents and other documentation associated with our quality control here at the port and have also assisted the mines with their documentation.I started work for Mt Newman Mining in 1986 as an Electrical assistant and from there progressed to Ore Handler special grade. In this role I was part of the production team in charge of operating and maintaining the crushing and screening plant, car dumpers, ore stackers, reclaimers and shiploaders.After 4 years in Production I moved into quality control as a sampler technician, leading hand sampler, Snr Technician and finally my current role of Production specialist.To be continued Show less
