* To lead and manage the buying and selling activities across the Sports Division Own Product & Sporting Equipment categories.* Ensure the achievement of the ARL budgeted sales and contribution and member sales, margins and buying benefits.* Develop, implement, review and measure the annual Own Product & Sporting Equipment category business plan and budgets.* Manage the sales and profitability of the Own Product & Sporting Equipment categories * Develop excellent supplier relationships that grow the charge through supplier performance. Negotiate favourable trading terms with all suppliers annually to ensure budget and member objectives are met Improve member benefits, discounts and terms improvements

* Senior store manager additional responsibilities included “Mentor” to store managers. Developing CRM programmes to better analyse sales, wage control, service standards, customer traffic trends and buying patterns.* Increase sales to give the 4 stores the under my responsibility the highest turnover and conversion rate of customer count to sales transaction.* Responsible for the development and implementation of strategic sales and operation plans * Responsible for planning and managing financial budgets

* Identify the target customer for the assigned merchandise category through analysing customer needs, competitor activity, the retail environment and market research for day to day running of 20 stores of responsibility.* Work with the planning team to develop merchandise and financial plans and deliver on budgeted KPI's for the national brand.
