As a Team Lead at Decision Tech, was continually working with stakeholders throughout the whole project lifecycle from design to maintenance. My role was to help the team grow while delivering value regularly and efficiently.On the Partners Team, we developed the white-label solution which drives the broadband and mobile-phones comparison sections of some of the largest price comparison sites in the UK. This is a very demanding consumer sector where small improvements can translate into significant increases in revenue. We worked in an evidence-driven manner using A/B testing to see what works and provide the best possible features for our clients and their customers.

Working as a developer for AerData's CMS system for aircraft leasing companies. This position provided me with excellent insights into the challenges and opportunities of working with a large company. My responsibilities included development over the full stack as well as deployment automation and process improvements.

I was hired to build a custom client portal which could interface with our back office software (Afas Profit). The main purpose of the portal is to provide more convenient access to our services for our clients. This, in turn, reduces our workload allowing us to continue our rapid growth (nominated for 3 consecutive 'FD Gazellen' awards, won best in country 2011 and best in region 2012, also 5th place in the 'Deloitte Fast 50' 2013) whilst maintaining a high level of serviceThe team started as just my self and gradually expanded to four members. Being part of such a small team and working on the project from its beginning meant that I was working on everything from cloud infrastructure management to design (and all the other things in between). We wrote the system for Windows Azure in C# using the ASP.NET MVC Framework with SQL Server for data persistence and the Afas Profit Xml Api.
