(2021- retired from government service) I investigate and prosecute major fraud within the social welfare system. Cases I investigate may involve $100k plus of fraud. My work includes being the officer in charge of cases right through the criminal justice system, including trials.Collect and manage evidence.Evidential interviews.A big part of my duties is to negotiate with clients to ensure compliance, both face to face and via phone calls.Manage risk, safety and security associated with offsite visits.

I was responsible for disease detection and hygiene in meat processing plants. Meat from these plants was inspected to the demanding standards required by the countries who imported meat and meat products from New Zealand.
