My responsibilities as an administrative assistant at Blue Sky Cleaners covered a broad variety of tasks and changed on a week to week basis. Listed are some of my responsibilities and accomplishments at Blue Sky Cleaners:- Worked under the CEO/General manager of the largest toxin-free dry cleaner in the country.- Assembled and maintained infrastructure in the Dry Cleaning plant and branch locations (conveyors, washing machines, IT stations). - Centralized and complied all IT equipment.- Assembled IT stations throughout the floor of the Blue Sky plant. Each station included PCs, barcode scanners, printers, monitors as well as customized software and internet access.- Served the company doing miscellaneous tasks to improve operations.- Assisted in the takeover and mergers of dry cleaner companies that Blue Sky had acquired. I played a role in synchronizing and rebranding the new location as a Blue Sky affiliate.- Managed the implementation of an updated production software (ProductionTrac) integrated throughout the Blue Sky Cleaners dry cleaning plant and retail stores.Blue Sky Cleaners dry cleaning plant and retail stores.

During summer breaks from college I worked on the American Beauty, a commercial Pollock fishing ship that operates in the Bering Sea. I was a member of a crew of five employees who operated the the vessel and caught pollock in the Bering Sea. My responsibilities included:- Taking solo watches/ driving the ship in the wheel house. Responsible for navigation and collision avoidance.- Working on deck: Hauling nets and gear; operating crane, net reels and other hydraulic equipment; miscellaneous deck operations such as mooring and anchoring; maintaining ship and equipment. - Assisted the ships chief engineer in the engine room. helping with task such as changing engine oil, setting refrigeration levels for fish holds and other improvements or maintenance responsibilities.- Was in charge of taking on fuel when we came into port and keeping fuel log.- Oversaw offload of fish at the cannery in King Cove, AK as a safety and quality control supervisor.- Bi-annual Shipyard responsibilities.
